Overview
Camelot Window Cleaning is a Nashville family business that already ranked well locally and earned steady leads — but its site crawled on mobile. What began as a straight speed rebuild grew into a full refresh: rewritten service pages, a leaner site structure, and real photos of their crews, all without breaking the addresses Google and their customers already use.
The Challenge
The existing site scored just 25/100 on mobile and took nearly 7 seconds to load on a phone — most visitors are gone long before that. It also ranked and converted, so every change carried risk: the new plan rewrote every service page, folded 21 thin location pages into one, and retired three overlapping service pages, on a site whose addresses were already in Google, on their Business Profile, and in years of backlinks.
Our Solution
We rebuilt the site on Next.js and Tailwind as a static site on Cloudflare, tuned for phones — lean fonts, lazy-loaded sections, and a hero photo cropped specifically for small screens. Service pages were built from the client's approved copy, while titles, canonicals, schema, and business details stayed locked unless a change was signed off. Every retired page redirects to its replacement, and before launch we tested all 187 old addresses we could find against the new build. Lead forms now run through one spam-protected endpoint with a database backup, and launch was a single DNS change that left the company's email untouched.
