A staffing company's site rebuilt on Cloudflare Workers — every URL, ranking, and lead carried across intact.
Overview
Finch Harbor places dedicated, full-time assistants with US businesses from a Nashville base. Their site was already live and already earning enquiries, so the rebuild had one hard rule: replace the whole thing at the same domain without a visitor, a search result, or an enquiry noticing the change.
The Challenge
Rebuilding a site in place is the risky kind of rebuild. Every published URL had to keep resolving, the enquiry form had to keep delivering through the platform change, and the existing lead history couldn't be split in half by the cutover. On top of that the reader is on a phone, on cellular, thirty seconds after a cold call — so the new site had to be faster than the one it replaced, not just newer.
Our Solution
We rebuilt on Next.js and Cloudflare Workers against a proper design system, kept every URL byte-for-byte (including the trailing slashes) and redirected the two that couldn't survive, and rewrote the contact form to store each enquiry before it tries to email it. We pointed the new site at the existing lead store rather than a fresh one, then fixed the indexing faults that surfaced afterwards — including a duplicate hostname that had knocked the real site out of Google's index.
